About Me

I am a graduate student at Stanford University in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. My primary field of interest is particularly in engineering design and I have worked extensively on various projects out of my own interest. I also have considerable background in mechatronics and I believe that this complements my passion for design and makes me equipped to solve even complex engineering design problems with innovative solutions.

I completed my undergraduate studies in Anna University, Chennai, India with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my studies I have always tried to go above and beyond just academics and have several interests outside school and this has shaped me into what I am today.

I served as the President of the Association of Mechanical Engineers in my undergrad institution leading a team of over 80 students to organize the annual national level technical symposium, Invente. I also served as the head of the Model UN society and organized 3 editions of our college Model UN. This also allowed me to participate in over 25 such conferences throughout my undergrad in various capacities - as a delegate and an executive board member. I also served as the treasurer of the annual cultural festival, Instincts at my undergrad institution and this further allowed me to lead teams in various capacities.

In addition to mechanical engineering and public speaking, my other interests include playing music on the keyboard, appreciating music and binge watching TV shows (when I can find the time).
